Classic Auction Review - The latest selling prices for Classic Cars, UK, Europe and Worldwide

ON-LINE REALITY CHECK ON HOW MUCH BOUGHT WHAT IN MARCH

These were some of the classics sold and therefore valued on the internet in 'Timed Out' internet auctions in the UK during March 2020. They have been listed in order of the prices paid for them, and in compliance with virus-spread distancing requirements, cars auctioned could not be physically viewed, but were bid for and bought purely on the digital descriptions and images posted on the auction platforms 01-31 March.

The sums paid for classics were therefore not their previously insured values nor advertised 'asking prices', the majority of which have been rendered historic by the pandemic crash and may no longer be achievable. Nor were they wishful and retail-sized pre-sale auction estimates. The prices listed were their very latest and therefore current valuations indicating what those in the market are actually prepared to pay for cars.

As the only accurate barometer reading on the net, the next batch of the very latest prices for classics sold, bought and valued in the real world will appear on this i-page following April trades. RH-E
